Prep time: 5 mins

Cook time: 12 mins

Serves: 4

Cooking Skill: Not Too Tricky

Ingredients

6 good-quality pork sausages
4 English muffins
4 cheese slices
4 eggs
1-2 teaspoons chipotle paste
2 teaspoons runny honey
Your favourite sauces, to serve
A little oil, to fry

Method

Step 1

Remove the sausage meat from the casings. Discard the casings and transfer the sausagemeat to a large bowl.

Step 2

Add the chipotle paste and honey.  Mix gently.

Step 3

Split the mixture into 4 even sized patties – you can use a ring mould or plain round pastry cutter to help shape the patties. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4

Cook the patties in an airfryer at 180°C for 8–10 minutes, until cooked through but still juicy.

Step 5

Whilst the patties are cooking, split and toast the muffins.

Step 6

Remove the cooked sausage patties from the airfryer and keep warm.

Step 7

Fry the eggs in a little oil – you can use a metal ring for that authentic diner- style shape!

Step 8

Assemble the muffins with a slice of cheese, the patty and finish with the muffin lid on top.

Step 9

Serve immediately with your favourite sauces.
