Denhay Farms Unveils New Spoiltpig Sausages Exclusively To Morrison’s
16th July 2012
This summer Denhay Farms Ltd has launched a new range of sausages under their spoiltpig label exclusively to Morrison’s stores nationwide.
Spoiltpig products are produced entirely from pigs that have been outdoor reared and are approved by the Freedom Foods label which adhere to strict RSPCA welfare codes.
It is the only UK farm assurance scheme that focuses entirely on improving the welfare of farm animals reared for food, so consumers can be assured their food comes from animals reared in the UK to strict welfare standards in line with the Pork Provenance code.
Spoiltpig sausages are made with prime cuts of pork and then generously seasoned with herbs and spices. Available in Pork & Herb and Pork varieties, they are on sale in Morrison’s stores nationwide now for £2.89 for 6 sausages.
Richard Hogg, Sales and Marketing Director for Denhay Farms said:
“To secure distribution for Spoiltpig Sausages with Morrisons is a great partnership for the brand.
“Denhay Farms is committed to developing high welfare pork products consumers love and Spoiltpig sausages are a great example of this.”
The spoiltpig label is produced by Denhay Farms Ltd, a jointly owned family business which has been farming in Dorset for more than 60 years.
Denhay Farms was awarded the Royal Agricultural Society of England’s Award for Excellence in Practical Farming in 2002 and in 2011 was granted a Royal Warrant to HRH the Prince of Wales.
